Mizan operates a platform that connects independent jewelry stores ("Stores") with customers. Stores list physical gold pieces with machine-captured weights, photographs, and pricing computed from live gold market rates. Mizan is not a party to any sale: purchases, payments, returns, and warranties are between you and the Store. Mizan does not hold inventory and does not process payments between you and a Store.

Accounts are created with a mobile phone number. By providing your number you consent to receive one-time verification codes by SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency is limited to sign-in events you initiate. Reply is not required; codes expire on their own. We do not use your number for marketing and we do not share it with Stores. You must be at least 18 and use a real mobile number registered to you. VoIP, virtual, and landline numbers are rejected. One account per number.

Listed prices are computed from a live gold spot feed, each piece's measured weight and karat, and the Store's margin. Because the gold market moves, the price at the counter is the one the Store confirms at the time of sale. Displayed prices are good-faith live estimates, not binding offers. Melt values are informational and are not appraisals.

The messaging feature connects you directly with a Store. Do not send abusive, unlawful, or fraudulent content, and do not use messaging to solicit off-platform schemes. Stores see the display name you set. We may suspend accounts that abuse messaging, probe the platform's security, or create accounts by automated means.

Stores are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for honoring applicable consumer protection law, and for their own regulatory compliance, including precious-metals dealer licensing where required. A Store's presence on Mizan is not an endorsement or guarantee by Mizan.

You may not scrape the platform at scale, attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication, upload malicious files, misrepresent your identity, or interfere with other users. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, and we cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mizan's aggregate liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
